Our team has over 50 years of combined experience in the holistic health field. We are ready to provide you with a listening ear and compassionate care. We have highly skilled practitioners and soulful offerings for everyone – and it is through this that we can reach and serve a greater number of people.
At Ripple Effect Wellness Centre, we create opportunities for clients to recover & heal, physically, emotionally, mentally, & spiritually.
It is our deepest intention to create community – within the 4 walls of our clinic, within the greater St. Albert & Edmonton areas, and within the global community.
“Treating patients with a nurturing and intuitive spirit, it is my heart-felt desire that everyone who enters Ripple Effect Wellness Centre feels listened to, cared for, and supported in their journey. Using a combination of acupuncture, massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, meditation, birth and life empowerment, and intuitive sacred rituals, I facilitate opportunities for deep healing and transformation in my clients.
I care deeply. I believe in the new paradigm of empowered birth. I believe in bridging western and eastern philosophies of wellness so that wholistic healing may occur. I believe in community and authentic connections. I believe the Universe provides for each of us abundantly.
And I believe strongly, that we are all enough.” -Eldyka
I am a Holistic Healer turned Birth Warrior turned Soulful Sister!
I have been providing holistic care to patients throughout Alberta since 1995. I hold certification in Acupuncture & Massage Therapy, and have extensive additional training in Craniosacral Therapy, meditation, pregnancy & fertility care, and sacred rituals. I effectively combine all modalities into my treatments, treating patients with a nurturing and intuitive spirit.
As a bodyworker, I work with patients from infancy and onward, honouring their journeys and offering support in whatever form is required. I believe deeply that all of my patients hold within themselves the ability to heal themselves.
As a doula, I empower clients throughout pregnancy, labour and into parenthood, to create an extraordinary birth experience. I believe in a new paradigm of birth – one where women are empowered and encouraged to find their inner strength.
As a facilitator of Soulful Sisterhood retreats and circles, I hold space for women to find authentic connections within themselves and their community, through deep reflection, release work and spiritual connection. I believe that when Women circle together, miracles happen, and am blessed to have my Soulful Sisters in my life and in my tribe.
I care deeply, and truly look forward to welcoming you to Ripple Effect Wellness Centre.
I have been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2008, and every client I see, each with their own unique story and concerns, rekindles the fire I have for my career.
The breadth of my advanced training and clinical experience has been working with women in their journeys through fertility, pregnancy and postpartum. Since becoming a mother myself, my interest in pediatrics has also bloomed. I enjoy treating children and witnessing how quickly they benefit from acupuncture and the other modalities used within the scope of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
While these two areas are where the majority of my focus has been, I am also very passionate about my general practice. My interests continue to shift as life’s transitions and my personal experience guide the focus of my practice, but every interest is a branch from the same tree, rooted deeply in my sole passion: to offer physical, mental and emotional balance to every individual who seeks it.
Since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to help and heal the people around me. This passion for caring for others led me into the field of alternative healing and medicine.
I started my journey by receiving my Doula certificate through DONA and Gentle Touch Doula Services. After earning that certificate, I found myself eager to learn more about the connection of the mind, body and spirit.
I attended Grant MacEwan University for 5 years, first receiving a diploma in Holistic Health, where I specialized in reflexology, western herbology and acupressure. After studying acupressure, I was drawn to Chinese theory and medicine, which in turn led me to receive my diploma in Acupuncture. In my final year of studies, I was fortunate enough to travel to Zhengzhou, China, where I completed 80 hours of clinical and academic hours of Acupuncture and Moxibustion at Henan University of Chinese Medicine.
I care deeply about female health and the beautiful journeys a woman’s body experiences, and I am very passionate about menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum.
Due to my own personal struggle, I hold a special interest in digestive health. Throughout my clinical experience I’ve had the opportunity to successfully treat Crohn’s disease, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, nausea, and gastroesophageal reflux. I’m also very interested in working with those with anxiety and depression, which is far too prevalent in our society, and I strive to understand how it all affects the physical and spiritual body.
In a treatment, I provide sincere care and support through meditative breathing, reflexology, traditional Chinese modalities and acupuncture. My goal is to assist clients to achieve a deeper understanding of their healing abilities, and to discover their true potential to health and happiness.
While studying Eastern philosophy, Ashley quickly became fascinated by the ancient Chinese culture and its holistic view of healing. This led to her completing MacEwan University’s Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine program, where she grew her passion for healing and energy medicine. Ashley incorporates acupuncture, cupping, auricular therapy, Tui Na, moxibustion, gua sha, electro-stimulation and nutritional therapy as she helps gently guide the body back into a natural state of balance.
She has a special passion for treating all aspects of women’s health, gastrointestinal and digestive disorders, pain management, supporting mental and emotional well being, sleep issues and allergies. She provides her patients with the care, knowledge and support they need to achieve optimal health, while embracing the concept of mind, body and spirit connection.

I grew up in rural Alberta, where my childhood would bring me many fond memories of the great people in my community and my family. It is in these early years of my life where I developed a passion for giving and helping people to feed the atmosphere of the community around me. After high school I attended the University of Alberta to pursue my Bachelor of Science degree and again found a great community of fellow aspiring geologists as well as artists that I collaborated with to promote a sense of community while going to school.
Following my degree I moved to British Columbia to work in the Forestry Industry, it is here where I would find my future husband and we would become a military family. We moved to Moose Jaw, SK where we found ourselves surrounded by genuine, friendly and compassionate people. We would go on to give birth to our three energetic children and through them and our pursuits we discovered what a true gem Saskatchewan and its people are.
Now back in Alberta, I am embarking on a new journey, taking all of the lessons and experiences from my past and continuing with my passion for helping others and contributing to the community. As a body worker I believe the body is an amazing universe that has the natural ability to heal itself. Through massage I aid in the process for optimal healing and function of the muscles and its relation to our emotions and skeletal framework. I look forward to working with clients in a therapeutic, relaxing and soulful experience.
As a Massage Therapist, I have found my passion and I feel truly grateful to do this work. I graduated with honors from M H Vicars, and over the course of my career, I have come to embrace wholeness. It’s never just one muscle that hurts. It’s never just the body, just the mind, just the circumstances or stress. It’s everything as a whole and I am always working to find new ways to bring unity to my clients.
I have taken professional development courses in soft tissue release, kinetic massage, hot stone massage and mindful meditation massage. I use many techniques and approaches ranging from relaxation to deep tissue work, from focusing on silent, peaceful massages, to ones that incorporate movement, client feedback and education. I blend my modalities to address the unique body and mind of the person I am working with.
I am particularly interested in fascia and the role it plays in our overall health. Fascia is the continuous connective tissue that runs throughout our entire bodies, our muscles, our bones, our organs and our brains. It holds us together and it offers a unique way to access the nervous system and bring harmony to our various systems.
My treatments tend to be slow and specific and are continually evolving as I continue to learn.
It is an honor to be a Massage Therapist – to get to touch and learn, to educate and help people live more comfortably. I welcome everyone who comes through our doors and I respect the journeys we are all on.
